  • Rant?

    In English class, we were given this random exercise:

    "Choosing a line, phrase or sentence from one of the six pieces we examined in groups, write for 15 minutes, without pausing, on the topics of identity and otherness."

    Forgetting identity and otherness, I basically ranted for the entire 15 minutes. The rant, of course, began with an excerpt from one of our six pieces, "I understand nothing. Nothing. Nothing about anything. I didn't understand the reasons for things or for people." I thought this was an excellent starting for reasons unknown.

    A quick tidbit of the rant:
    Everything is an accident. There is no fate. Fate does not exist. There is no way to prove that your existence, actions, or anything related to life was or is planned out.

    Intrawebberz... your ideas on fate?

    Good news!

    On the whole "resolutions" front... I've sort of stepped in the right direction!
    I signed up for a gym last night and they're so so nice. It kind of makes me motivated to go back there and be BFFS with them. Already BFFS with some of the trainers who signed me up, hah.

    With the school front, I think I'm pretty good though I missed basically a WEEK of school. I started on my essays early for English and I'm actually reading ahead for Calculus. For Latin, that's basically second nature to me now, doing the homework.

    YAY FOR RESOLUTION PRODUCTIVITY!


    Plus, I think I'm going back to volunteering at the Mental Health Centre, in the Cafe. I miss it so much!
